Greetings from ISA Amritsar City Branch!
At the outset we would like to thank all the members of our ISA Amritsar City Branch for reposing faith in us to lead this organisation as president and secretary for the year 2017-18 and again for second term for the year 2018-19. It will be our greatest endeavour to carry the pride of this great legacy further to make a great stride.
Last year was phenomenal as ISA Amritsar City Branch carried out various non scientific programmes like Public awareness drive in Rambagh area apart from BLS programme under Dr Raman Chatrath and team in different area of Amritsar. This event was highlighted in various newspapers as well as digital media. We are confident and determined to carry the trend forward with the help and support of our enthusiastic and dynamic team.
As a part of social contribution to the society we have planned Tree Plantation Drive this year to save the earth and as a part of our commitment to the environment. The BLS activity conducted by Dr Raman Chatrath and team will continue as a full-fledged activity and we plan to teach BLS to maximum number of people. Our team would be working at their best to make people aware about anaesthesia and the role of anaesthesiologist in different fields. We thank you all once again for your support and trust bestowed on us and our team.
This year apart from the CMEs, Workshop, ether week celebration, we have planned Punjab First ISACON. This conference is going to be held on 6-7th October 2018 at Government Medical College, Amritsar. This event is envisaged as a programme for the anaesthesiologists, critical acre specialists, young medical graduates and post graduates. This conference will be dedicated towards the advances made in research and development, standards in anaesthesia practice and their application in the clinical scenario, critical care and pain management, discussion on the best practice guidelines, some controversial issues, the current and latest update in anaesthesia management, coverage of new anaesthesia techniques and a lot more interesting academic material.Eminent National faculty from all over the country would be sharing their experience and expertise with all of us. There will be presentations by budding anaesthesiologists to kindle your interest in academic research and updates. It is with great hope and enthusiasm that we invite all of you for participation in this program to learn, discuss and debate anaesthesiology. We look forward to your continued support in making this event a grand success.
